14 June 2023

The CESAGRAM project was successfully presented at the RISE SD conference which took place in Rhodes, Greece during May 29-31, 2023.

On May 29, Ms. Theoni Spathi , representing CERTH, first outlined the current landscape on child sexual exploitation and abuse, as well as on grooming and missing children, and then provided a well-rounded  presentation on the aims and objectives of the CESAGRAM project, its goals and impact along with its expected outcomes.

Emphasis was given on the CESAGRAM response against online grooming activities, also in relation to missing children, through training and awareness raising activities, as well as with the development of AI-based tools and technologies.

After the presentation a short Q&A followed, where the audience had the opportunity to discuss with the presenter and become more thoroughly informed about the project.

More than 220 participants attended the three-days of the RISE-SD conference, with the CESAGRAM project attracting attention and gathering positive feedback, thus providing opportunities for networking and future synergies.
